Bali is not very big. We managed to drive in our rented Suzuki Kantana around the island in three weeks. We visited the most beautiful temples and landscapes. You can find a lot of good diving spots all around the island. We dove at Palau Menjangan (near Java), Tulmaben, Liberty wreck etc...
